Okay but LOOK at her 😭🍑
I knew I wanted to do something with the last of these Georgia peaches before summer starts slipping away, and apparently the answer was shove them into sourdough with a bunch of buttery brown sugar cobbler goodness. 😂
The Peach Cobbler Loaf made her debut last week and I think she may have earned herself another round.
Fresh peaches, brown sugar, butter, warm spices + that oat-covered crust that gets all crispy and toasty in the oven. I meannnnn. 😮💨
She’s back on the Loaf List this week…at least until I run out of peaches. 🫡🍑 Check it out at the link in bio!
Happy Sunday, Loafcountry. Go eat something good today. ❤️🔥

One of the most meaningful things we’ve heard this weekend is that Cashmere feels like a real bookstore. A place to browse, explore, sit and talk books, and discover something unexpected.
Because books are not simply something we carry. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘦.
We are an independent bookstore built by readers, for readers, where thoughtfully curated books are at the heart of every conversation, discovery, and connection. The literary treasures and bookish gifts add to the experience, but books will always come first.
Readers have lingered. Strangers have recommended books to one another. Customers have stood at the counter talking with our booksellers about favorite authors, beloved characters, new releases, and the stories they cannot stop thinking about.
And then there are the moments we could never have planned. Local authors stopping in, talking with aspiring writers, sharing what they’ve learned and offering encouragement to someone dreaming of writing their own book someday.

People have told us the shop feels cozy, open, comfortable, unmistakably Lowcountry, and like somewhere they simply want to stay awhile.
𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑒𝑥𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑒 ℎ𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑑 𝐶𝑎𝑠ℎ𝑚𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒.
Not just a place to shop, but an independent bookstore where books are loved, readers are welcomed, authors are embraced, and conversations about stories are always encouraged.
Today is the third day of our Grand Opening Weekend, and we would love for you to come experience Cashmere for yourself.
We’re open today, Sunday, August 9, from 12–4 PM.
Browse the shelves, talk books with us, and discover something unexpected.

Seeing a shrimp boat out on the water is pretty special. A much larger industry in years past, shrimping has been a big part of the culture in #beaufortsc for nearly two centuries. 🦐

⭕️ The Old Sheldon Church, originally Prince William`s Parish Church, was built around 1753 and burned to the ground twice; first in 1779 by the British during the American Revolution and then by General Sherman during the US Civil War in 1865. The ruins of the church can be found near Beaufort, South Carolina.
